Plov is a traditional way of cooking rice with vegetables, beef lamb or beef, and hot spices.

According to ancient sources ... the Amir Timur (Tamerlane) included, as a key menu of your troops, charged his wise Molla with a prescription to get together a large army that could go some loaded with food and thus make a long way and fast, so suddenly attack their enemies.

This was the recipe that the wise Mullah transcribed to his Emir: "You have to take with a large cast iron pot. In this pot, there is meat not old rams but also, they are very young, select rice "swells of pride" that will be eaten by the brave warriors, new carrots, and spicy onions that sting like a sword of the venerable emir. All this must be cooked on fire until the aroma of the dish gets to Allah, and the cook never falls from exhaustion, because it will taste this divine food "
