● Afternoon excursion to the old part of the city to visit the Khast Imam Square – which is the place where relics of the Muslim world are collected & it is the religious centre of Tashkent and a place of worship for Muslim pilgrims. Khast Imam is located in the old Tashkent city, within blocks of small mud houses. Barak-Khan (XVI cent.), Tilla-Sheikh Mosque (XIX century), Mausoleum of St. Kaffal Shashi (XV cent.) and Islamic Institute of Imam al-Bukhari, where future preachers are taught are located there, on Hast-Imam Square.
● A rich library of oriental manuscripts is also located there. The world-famous Koran of Caliph Osman has been preserved here. Ottoman Koran is known as the primary source of Islam's holy book that was written in the middle of the 7th century.
● Later see the Kukeldash Madrassah and Chorsu Bazaar, the oldest market in Tashkent. Long hundreds of years ago it was one of the busiest bazaars in Central Asia since it is located on the Silk Route.
