Welcome to Tashkentland – The Disneyland of Uzbekistan
Opened in 1997 alongside its sister water park, Tashkentland was the first next-generation amusement park in Uzbekistan. From the start, it charmed locals with its family-friendly concept: almost all rides are designed to be enjoyed by both kids and adults together, making it a perfect destination for shared joy across generations.
Among the park’s most beloved attractions:
• A 1.5 km cable car that gives you a bird’s-eye view of both Tashkentland and the water park
• A 24-meter Ferris wheel offering sweeping views over castle towers and park citadels
• Twin-seat “Teacups” that rise and fall while spinning continuously
• A classic French carousel with horses and royal carriages
• African River Safari — a boat ride through mysterious jungle landscapes, waterfalls, and lifelike silhouettes of wild animals
• Haunted Castle — a two-story ride cloaked in spider webs and guarded by a dragon. An open-air cart carries you through eerie darkness, speeding up and slowing down unexpectedly as ghostly surprises chase you through every corner
For Thrill-Seekers (Height Requirement: 120 cm+)
• “Wave Swinger” Ride – simulates a chaotic ocean storm, tossing riders up, sideways, and nearly down to the ground in a heart-racing sequence that’s thrilling even to watch
• “Skyflyer” Hammers – a dizzying pendulum that suspends you upside down at a 90° angle, pausing at the peak for extra suspense
• “Boomerang” Roller Coaster – starts with a slow, scenic climb to the top, giving you just a few seconds to admire the view before sending you flying through loops, drops, and tight turns over a sparkling lake
For the Little Ones
Gentler rides include:
• The “Kangaroo” ride
• The “Little Train” carousel
• A mini bumper car arena with pint-sized vehicles
Seasonal Schedule
Tashkentland operates annually from Navruz (Spring Festival) through the end of summer. As the park has no indoor pavilions, it closes during the rainy or cold seasons.
Food, Relaxation & Nature
Need a break? Grab a bite at one of the on-site fast-food cafés or unwind with a picnic by the lakeside under the shade of tall trees. Visitors can feed ducks and swans or take a peaceful rowboat ride on the water.
A Landmark in the Heart of Yunusabad
Tashkentland is a major destination in the Yunusabad District and is conveniently located just outside the city centre. It’s adjacent to a tranquil walking park, the Japanese Garden & Tea Pavilion, and the Uzexpocentre exhibition grounds.
But be warned — it’s nearly impossible to combine Tashkentland with any other attraction in one day. Once you step inside this fairy-tale kingdom, crowned with whimsical towers and brimming with rides, time seems to disappear. You’ll want to stay and explore every magical corner.
