Entry to the parks is free, so even if you’re not planning to hop on any rides, you’re welcome to enjoy a walk with your kids through beautifully landscaped grounds. Musical fountains rise to 50 meters in height, lit in vivid colours that create a magical atmosphere. The park’s infrastructure is continuously upgraded, and weekends are packed with themed festivals and live performances featuring animators. During summer nights, outdoor movie screenings bring cinematic hits to the lawns under the stars.
Anhor Lokomotiv Park pays tribute to world landmarks, while Anhor Park celebrates the architectural heritage of Uzbekistan. The themed “Navruz” section showcases miniatures of the country’s most iconic structures, such as:
• The Tashkent TV Tower
• The Amir Timur Museum
• Kalta Minor Minaret (Khiva)
• Kalyan Minaret (Bukhara)
• Sher-Dor Madrasah (Samarkand)
• Babur Memorial (Andijan)
• The famous Tashkent Clock Tower
They’re all within walking distance inside the park — perfect photo spots! You can even grab a bite in a restaurant styled as a railway car, next to a replica of the high-speed Afrosiyob train.
Anhor Lokomotiv Park
Opened on August 8, 2016, Anhor Lokomotiv was the first of the Anhor parks and quickly gained a loyal fanbase. Covering 8 hectares, it’s packed with activities for kids — a climbing wall, a rope course with a zipline, and a secured trampoline zone for toddlers.
The park's standout feature? The “Anhor Star” Ferris Wheel — the tallest in Central Asia — stands 72 meters high. It offers fully enclosed cabins, so even those afraid of heights can enjoy the ride in comfort. Sunsets from the top are breathtaking. Two cabin types are available: Standard and VIP (featuring leather seats, air conditioning, and binoculars). The name of the wheel was even chosen via public vote — a sign of how beloved it is by Tashkent’s residents.
The park is lush and green, providing a cool escape even in summer mornings.

Anhor Park
Anhor Park has something for every season — even winter. It’s home to Drive Cinema and Central Asia’s largest go-karting track, Axelon Karting Club, covering 12,000 sq m with a 540-meter-long racecourse. The kart fleet includes:
• beginner-friendly vehicles
• kid-sized cars with speed restrictions
• dual-passenger karts for rides with children or instructors
• professional-grade karts for racing tournaments
Looking for a mental challenge or thrill? Try the Enter game zone, with escape rooms, arcade games, and a 5D VR cinema.
When hunger strikes, the food court has something for everyone:
• Turkish dishes from the beloved Efendi (with summer terrace)
• Desserts from Baskin-Robbins
• Artisan coffee from Black Bear Kofi and Halva Art Café Shop
• Lounge-style drinks at Famous Bar
• Shopping at nearby boutique galleries
The Ice Rink, now relocated from Ice City (Next Mall), operates year-round and offers an 800 sq m skating area. It’s spacious enough for all ages, and hosts hockey games and fun ice discos. Beginners and kids can use support frames.
In warmer months, the new rides — including a rollercoaster with tight turns and a loop — light up in the evenings, drawing families after sunset. While not quite the scale of Tashkentland, the park's attractions still deliver an adrenaline rush. Sky swings give panoramic views of old and new Tashkent.
During summer, due to limited shade, it's best to visit after 6:00 PM when the heat starts to fade.
Events & Celebrations
The open-air amphitheatre (320 seats) regularly hosts art exhibitions, music festivals, master classes, concerts, and talent shows. Seasonal celebrations are held here too, from New Year’s festivities to Navruz.
Locals from nearby neighbourhoods often stroll around the artificial lake, ride pedal boats, and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere. Visiting on your birthday? Let the park staff know — special surprises await.
