09:00 Meet with driver and guide at the hotel in Samarkand.

09:15-11:15 Drive around 170 kilometers from Samarkand to Shakhrisabz.

11:30 – 16:30 Excursion program in Shakhrisabz:

Shakhrisabz, the birthplace of the 14th-century Turco-Mongol conqueror, Timur or Tamerlane.  The translation of Shakhrisabz means “Green City” which sits in the south of Uzbekistan some 90km from Samarkand. Here, in Shakhrisabz (UNESCO-World Heritage Site) you will tour the monumental memorials of the barbaric Mongol Prince and also have the opportunity to watch the thriving bustle of this lively town. Visit ruins of Ak-Saray palace (“the White Palace”) – Tamerlane’s summer residence.

13:00-14:00 Lunch in one of the most beautiful restaurants in or in the national house.

16:30-18:30 Driving back from Shakhrisabz to Samarkand and transfer to hotel.
